What is Microneedling?
Microneedling helps stimulate the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. Its considered a skin resurfacing treatment. The natural production of these create healthier and younger looking skin. Through segmented delivery of microneedles, we create micro injuries to the outer layer of skin (epidermis) and inner layer of skin (dermis). This causes the body to repair itself; stimulating the growth of fibroblast cells which will trigger the production of collagen. This results in smoother looking skin.
What can Microneedling treat?
Microneedling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. In a study, microneedling has been found to be effective in reducing even burn scars by up to 80%. Does it hurt?
We can understand that microneedling sounds like a painful endeavor. Skin redness is a natural side effect of treatment, which can make microneedling look painful, as well. It isn’t. We make the treatment process as comfortable as possible by applying a topical numbing cream to the skin prior to treatment. This solution is left on the skin for several minutes, allowing time for full absorption. Most patients feel little if any sensation at all during microneedling treatment.

What is radiofrequency microneedling?
Radiofrequency (RF) microneedling is a form of collagen induction therapy that has become increasingly popular for adults interested in promoting youthful skin. Within a day or two, redness should dissipate significantly, if not completely. The skin may begin to feel tighter and softer after the very first treatment. We suggest up to four follow up treatments for optimal, lasting results.
